The Bee-Fit Gym Personal Best challenge!
We’ve challenged our members to beat their own personal bests in the Bee-Fit gym in Chelmsford this month in the run-up to Christmas – to burn off some extra calories and squeeze everything we’ve got left out of 2017.
Matt has already smashed his own plank PB and set a new gym record of 15 minutes, 29 seconds, Gary chest pressed 200kg, beating his previous record of 115kg, and Heidi did 10 full press ups – the first press ups after a hip replacement 8 weeks ago – and there will be lots more to celebrate by the end of December.
We’re all about PBs here at Bee-Fit:
With us, it’s always Personal. The minute a new member walks through the door, it’s all about their individual fitness goals – goals that we work to achieve and surpass so that they can be their Best. It’s never about competing with anyone else – just about what the individual can do. That’s why, as personal trainers, we can work with every level of fitness and adjust our training to injuries and health issues.
And, be honest, do you ever push yourself in the gym as much as you would if you had someone giving you a nudge and some gentle, or not so gentle encouragement! There’s nothing like a personal training session to push you to your limit and help you achieve your own personal best.
As we come to the end of one year and start thinking about going into the next, let’s all set ourselves some new PB goals – in our training, in life. What are your goals for 2018?
