2011 NFL redraft: Seahawks select Cameron Heyward with No. 25 pick

The Seattle Seahawks did not capitalize on the chance to select Cameron Heyward with the No. 25 overall pick in the 2011 NFL Draft.

The Seahawks went with right tackle James Carpenter at No. 25 overall. Carpenter quickly transitioned from right tackle to left guard in his second season in the league with Seattle. The Alabama product played a total of 11 seasons in the NFL.
However, Heyward put together a career worthy of Hall of Fame consideration. The Titans were within striking distance of selecting not only Heyward, but also wide receiver Randall Cobb.

Heyward was named first-team All-Pro four times, as well as second-team All-Pro twice in his 15-year career to date. He’s recorded at least 10 sacks three times in his career. Heyward ranks No. 9 among all active players in sacks with 92.

No. 64 overall - Green Bay Packers
Cobb was highly regarded at the wide receiver position throughout his 13 seasons played in the NFL. He went for 1,000 yards in 2014 with 1,287. The Kentucky product recorded a catch rate north of 70 percent seven times in his career.
