Josh Doan brings a famous hockey last name to the party.
Doan has been one of the Sabres' best young players, which is certainly a big deal in and of itself.
When you consider who his dad is, it's not a big surprise.

Who is Josh Doan's dad?
Josh Doan's father is the NHL great Shane Doan.
Shane played 1,540 games in his NHL career.
He totaled 972 points, including 402 goals and 570 assists.
Shane played a season for the Winnipeg Jets, then the rest of his way to 21 total NHL seasons with the Phoenix/Arizona Coyotes.

He was a well-respected player, including wins in the Messier Leadership Award and the Clancy Award.
Shane is 49 now, just a proud dad.
His son Josh is just 24. He's coming off a career year with the Sabres, 52 points in 82 games (25 goals, 27 assists).
