Brownlee to return for 2026 Supertri Jersey

Three-time Olympic Triathlon medallist Jonny Brownlee has confirmed he will return for this year's Supertri Jersey event on the island on 6 September.
The 36-year-old will be up against fellow Briton and 2024 Olympic champion Alex Yee as well as last year's winner Csongor Lehmann from Hungary, reigning world champion Matt Hauser and Olympic mixed team gold medallist Tim Hellwig.

Brownlee and his fellow triathlete brother Alistair were big supporters of the annual event which ran from 2017 until 2021 before being cancelled due to economic and scheduling issues.
The race returned in 2025, with Jonny crashing before climbing back on his bike to finish 11th.
Michael D'hulst, chief executive officer and co-founder of Supertri, said he was thrilled with "an extraordinary line-up" for the Supertri Pro Series Final.
"The stakes have never been higher, and with $800,000 (£598,240) on the line, every second will matter," he said in a statement.
"Jersey always brings something special to Supertri. The course, the atmosphere and the energy from the crowd create the perfect setting for a final of this scale."
Brownlee recently made history at Supertri Blenheim Palace, completing 10 sprint-distance triathlons across a single weekend in Supertri's Weekend Warrior format.
The women's race will be equally competitive, with reigning Supertri champion and last year's Jersey winner Jeanne Lehair returning to defend her title.
The Luxembourgian triathlete will be up against Olympic champion Cassandre Beaugrand and Great Britain's Georgia Taylor-Brown - the most decorated female athlete in Supertri.
Alongside the Supertri event, Jersey's landmark weekend of endurance sport will include Swim Run Jersey, the Jersey Spartan Athletics Club Half Marathon and Royal Bank of Canada (RBC) Race for the Kids Jersey.
