Fans that attended Sunday’s practice received posters, stickers and friendship bracelets from Togethxr, a media and commerce company focused on women’s sports, lifestyle, and culture.

Unfortunately, we live in a cynical world where trolls can take to social media. Sunday was another example, with an X user photoshopping the shirt worn by offensive coordinator Mike McDaniel to say, “Nobody Watches Women’s Sports,” a post that has more than 1.5 million views.
Thankfully, most people saw the post for what it was, a poor attempt to disrupt what was a great day of practice for the Chargers and women’s sports.
The Chargers’ second preseason game will be against the San Francisco 49ers Thursday, where McDaniel was previously the offensive coordinator.
While it’s not a significant showdown, it should be a good test for McDaniel and the rest of the coaching staff as the 49ers head coach Kyle Shanahan is one of the premier coaches in the league.
In 2026, the Chargers are looking to record their first playoff win in the Harbuagh era as well as the first postseason victory of Justin Herbert’s career. The upcoming campaign is an important year for the Chargers, especially for their star quarterback.
