Rams waive Jaxson Moi after NFL preseason

The Rams cut their NFL roster to 53 players on Sunday after the preseason. Los Angeles waived defensive tackle Jaxson Moi.

The former Vol signed with the Rams as an undrafted free agent in April following the NFL draft.

Moi played at Tennessee from 2024-25 after transferring from Stanford. He appeared in 22 games with the Vols, totaling 27 tackles, 6.5 tackles for a loss, three sacks, two pass deflections and one forced fumble.

In 24 games at Stanford from 2022-23, Moi recorded 37 tackles, 5.5 tackles for a loss, one sack and three pass deflections. He entered the NCAA transfer portal on Dec. 31, 2023.

Moi went to Stanford from Cathedral Catholic High School in San Diego, California.

Los Angeles also waived defensive tackles Tim Keenan (Alabama) and Bill Norton (Texas).

The Rams will kick off their NFL regular season on Sept. 10 against San Francisco at Melbourne Cricket Ground in Melbourne, Australia (Netflix).
