Green Bay Packers: new offensive lineman Laken Tomlinson has high praise for Jordan Love

To say that the Green Bay Packers have been a disappointment this season would be a serious understatement. Not only have they performed well below the standards they set for themselves, they have played like one of the worst teams in the entire NFL.
This has been particularly true on the offensive side of the ball. Injuries and abysmal play on the offensive line have prevented quarterback Jordan Love and the rest of the skill players from getting into a rhythm and performing at a high level.

Over the course of the past week, Green Bay has added two veteran offensive linemen to reinforce the unit, and one of them is impressed with his new quarterback.
New Green Bay Packers OL Laken Tomlinson has high praise for Jordan Love

Laken Tomlinson is an 11-year NFL veteran who was on the Dallas Cowboys practice squad to start the year. Last week, the Packers signed him and assigned him to their own practice squad ahead of Week Three. On Monday, he was added to the 53-man roster as Zach Bako-Bewele was put on season-ending injured reserve.
Tomlinson has played for five different NFL teams and multiple quarterbacks. When asked about Love, he said with a smile, “He’s a baller, man.”
He also said that Love is hosting a gathering for the team and that he is hopeful he will get to know his new teammates better.
This is a great show of leadership by Love, who oftentimes is criticized by fans for not being the “in-your-face” vocal kind of leader that his predecessor Aaron Rodgers was. Instead, Love leads quietly, and this kind of thing is what shows his teammates that he cares and wants them to develop chemistry both on and off the field.
Hopefully it produces results soon.
