Brewers hold on to win World Series Game 1, Rays turn to Drew Rasmussen for Game 2

· Yahoo Sports

The 122nd edition of the World Series has kicked off, and the Milwaukee Brewers have won their first game in the Fall Classic since 1984. On the backs of their already stellar pitching staff, they take a 1-0 lead against the Tampa Bay Rays, but with Game 2 set for Saturday night, this series could quickly flip on a dime.

On this episode of the Baseball Bar-B-Cast, Jake Mintz and Jordan Shusterman recap all the action from Game 1, which saw flame-throwing ace Jacob Misiorowski make his first-ever World Series start and hold the Rays' bats to just one run before the bullpen took over. They then look at the wacky top of the ninth, in which a replay review overturned a game-ending double play and cut the Brewers' lead to one, but the Brewers still had enough to hang on and secure the victory.

Later in the show, Jake and Jordan preview Game 2 of the series, that will see the Rays send their ace, Drew Rasmussen, to the mound to try to even things up at one game apiece before the series shifts to St. Petersburg. Will William Contreras continue to have a major impact on this series, or will Junior Caminero and a tough Rays lineup find a way to thump their way to a victory?
