Clements started the afternoon inside the top 20 and worked to maintain competitive track position as JR Motorsports controlled the leading drafting lanes. His No. 51 Chevrolet demonstrated solid speed during the opening stage, when he finished ninth and collected two valuable stage points.
Clements continued battling near the front during portions of Stage 2, working alongside several championship contenders as the field organized into different drafting lines. However, the constantly changing conditions made maintaining track position difficult. The first major accident occurred on Lap 57, collecting several competitors and temporarily interrupting the race.
Clements avoided being eliminated and remained in contention for a top-20 finish. He ultimately finished 18th, completing all 94 laps and earning 21 points. The result helped Clements maintain 19th in the overall NASCAR O'Reilly Auto Parts Series standings with 550 points.
He holds an 18-point advantage over Harrison Burton, who sits 20th. Clements will attempt to preserve his position during the final two races at Martinsville and Homestead-Miami.
