Kevin Stefanski comments on Falcons' preseason win vs. Dolphins

The Atlanta Falcons secured a 17-12 win over the Miami Dolphins in their preseason finale at Hard Rock Stadium. Quarterback Tua Tagovailoa returned to Miami, and despite some early "boos" from the crowd, he completed seven out of eight pass attempts for 95 yards.

Tagovailoa was mostly sharp, however, he was credited with a fumble on a botched snap. Overall, it was a fairly encouraging performance from Atlanta to close out the preseason.

Rookies Vinny Anthony and Carlos Allen shined again. The only downside was we didn't get to see much from undrafted QB Jack Strand, who attempted just seven passes (going 6-for-7) despite playing the entire second half.

Falcons head coach Kevin Stefanski was happy with what he saw on Friday night, and praised Tua for playing well in the face of a booing crowd.

"Tua's a pro," said Stefanski after the game. "I thought he handled the game really well - other than being on the opposite sideline, I really thought he did a nice job of handling all of it."

The Falcons have until 7 p.m. ET on Sunday to trim their roster down to 53 players. It's safe to say that Stefanski has some tough decisions to make after Friday's game.
